COLORFUL FANFARES for brass&percussion

Concerning the difficulty levels and ranges of the individual instruments, these compositions are suitable for music school students, since they move within middle range and do not reach extreme positions. A careful thought was given also to suitability of the keys, ones that are often used and reasonably easy for brass instruments were chosen. Concerning percussive instruments, a typical three-member cast is present here – bass drum, pair cymbals and snare drum.

The title “Colorful fanfares” was inspired by an image that each fanfare should have its own color in the name and that some of them could evoke the atmosphere of a specific occasion. For example, white fanfare is intended for a wedding ceremony, red fanfare for a festive occasion, etc.
