Although the suite called “Tea for 5” has originally been intended for five players, it also offers extensions or variability in other instruments, which are listed in the contents, and there are also parts for them.
The suite has three movements that differ mostly in character and style. The first movement is in the swing rhythm, the second movement is much slower, in eighth note rhythm, where the 3rd part carries the main melody. The third movement is in the same tempo as the first but in straight eighth notes.
